On July 30, 2024, the grand opening ceremony of Daikin New Materials (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was held. Mr. He Xiaodong, Chairman and General Manager of LONGTEC Company, and Mr. Yang Dongsheng, Deputy General Manager of LONGTEC Company, attended the event together and sent their warmest wishes to celebrate the grand opening of the new factory.

At the ceremony, Hideyoshi Akamatsu, Consul General of the Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai, expressed high praise for China Japan cooperation and sincere blessings, hoping that both sides can continue to strengthen exchanges, deepen cooperation, jointly tackle challenges, and achieve win-win development in the future. Daikin Group has stood firm for a hundred years, withstood numerous market tests, and has been increasingly recognized through the polishing of time. The experience gained from this is worth learning for many young enterprises.

In his speech, Hideo Kaneko, Chairman of Daikin Fluorochemicals (China) Co., Ltd., expressed sincere gratitude to the companies involved in the construction of this project. The construction and operation of the new factory cannot be separated from the strong support of all sectors of society. After operation, it can further improve the quality of special fluorine coatings and expand the variety and application fields of high-performance special functional fluorine coatings.

This project mainly includes two parts:

1. The production control system and automatic filling system for the water-based/oil-based workshop in the new factory area.

2. Relocation, installation, and production process control of water-based/oil-based workshops and other equipment in the old factory area.
