On May 27, 2023, the final of the second "LONGTEC Cup" Hefei University of Technology Optoelectronic Design Competition was successfully held at Room 236, Science and Technology Building, Tunxi Road Campus. This competition was jointly organized by Hefei LONGTEC Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. and the College of Instrument Science and Optoelectronic Engineering, aiming to stimulate college students' innovative thinking and cultivate practical skills through the competition.

This competition is divided into two questions: "Image Gap Recognition" and "Laser Ranging". A total of 162 students from 46 teams registered to participate in the competition. On March 29th, the organizing committee held a preliminary round and selected 28 teams to participate in the final.

At the final scene, the contestants engaged in fierce competition around the competition topic, fully utilizing the advantages of their respective works and carefully adjusting the performance of their entries. The atmosphere on site was both tense and enthusiastic. In the end, the competition selected 5 first prize teams, 10 second prize teams, and 11 third prize teams.

LONGTEC and Hefei University of Technology have a long-term cooperative relationship. At the end of last year, the two sides jointly established a joint training base for graduate students in the field of instrumentation, which is of great significance for cultivating high-quality applied talents, achieving complementary advantages, and win-win cooperation.
